A conversation with former PBS and CBS News producer and multiple Emmy Award winner Dan Dubno is writing an historical analysis for DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency) on the history the Manhattan Project and other science efforts that have addressed “existential threats” to the United States or our allies. Dan will also discuss his history as a producer on the CBS Evening News and for CBS News Special Events, where among thousands of news stories, he supervised coverage of 9/11, and Gulf Wars I and II. In addition to DARPA, Dan was a long-term member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Advisory Committee and also Contributing Editor to Popular Mechanics and other scientific journals. The discussion will take place at the New Providence Municipal building on May 7 at 9.30 am. Guests are welcome
