Food collection drive in Summit
The Summit Police Department will launch its eighth annual Food Drive on May 13, collecting items that will be donated to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry of St. Teresa of Avila Church. The drive will continue through June 3. The SPD is asking for donations of canned food and non-perishable items. Collection bins will be located at the following locations in Summit: Police Department lobby, City Hall, 512 Springfield Ave. The Connection, 79 Maple St. YMCA, 67 Maple St. UPS Store, 55 Union Pl. MONDO, 426 Springfield Ave. Summit High School, 125 Kent Place Blvd. Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School, 272 Morris Ave. Washington School, 507 Morris Ave. Franklin School, 136 Blackburn Road Lincoln-Hubbard School, 52 Woodland Ave. Brayton School, 89 Tulip St. Jefferson School, 110 Ashwood Ave. Wilson Primary Center, 14 Beekman Terr.
