New Jersey Tax Seminars at Summit Public Library for Small and Future Business People
Back by popular demand, Summit Free Public Library in collaboration with the New Jersey State Library and Taxation University, the training and outreach unit of the New Jersey Division of Taxation, will offer two workshops this spring for small business owners and future business owners and entrepreneurs. Both seminars are free of charge, but registration is required. Registration must be made by Monday, May 28, 2018. The New Jersey Sales Tax seminar will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 noon and will cover: • Taxable products and services • New Jersey Exemption Certificates • Collecting New Jersey Sales Tax • Filing Sales and Use Tax return and Wednesday, June 06, 2018, 01:30pm - 03:30pm In the Business Registration and Reporting Business Income seminar, startups and small business owners will get the foundation they need to make good decisions about business structure and reporting business income. They will learn about: - Different business structures - Registering a business in New Jersey - Legal entity vs. individual structured business registration - How to report your New Jersey business income
