Xeriscaping in the Northeast
Xeriscaping is a style of gardening using water conserving techniques. Lisa Roper, a horticulturist at Chanticleer for 25 years, will illustrate xeriscaping concepts featuring container displays, lawn alternatives and the Chanticleer Gravel Garden where she grows drought tolerant plants. Maplewood Garden Club hosts Lisa at Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker Street in Maplewood beginning at 7:30pm.
