Dr. William Hagmann will discuss the life of Thomas A. Edison as a rock star of technology and invention in turn-of-the-century America, despite receiving only a short elementary school education. Among his greatest invention may be the modern research and development laboratory that still inspires us today. This presentation will touch on many aspects of Edison’s life and his trial and error approach to research. Guests are welcome.
