The Lenape Delaware Indian Heritage
John Kraft, director of Lenape Lifeways Educational Programs Inc., is an archeologist/educator who has presented programs on the Lenape or Delaware Indians of New Jersey and the surrounding region. Mr Kraft will describe Lenape legends, art, customs and traditions, religious beliefs and the the economy and system of government of the Lenape Indians. Attendees will have an opportunity to handle authentic and recreated objects such as masks, clothing, musical instruments and tools.
