Talking Pictures Film Series
The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey will host its first Talking Pictures Film Series: The Representation of the Artist in Film. Film expert and author, Laura Winters, will host three, individual screenings of critically acclaimed films that explore the distinctive art forms of visual art, literature and music. Post-film discussions are led by Winters. Film schedule is as follows:
• November 6, 2013, 7pm: Basquiat
• November 13, 2013, 7pm: Capote
• November 20, 2013, 7pm: Pirate Radio
