The Summit Symphony Orchestra will present it’s second concert off the 2016-17 season. The concert will be performed on Sunday, December 4 at 2pm (earlier than the usual start time) at the Summit High School, located on Kent Place Blvd. The concert “Idylls and Dances of Yore” will be under the direction of Musical Director, Michael Avagliano. “Idylls and Dances of Yore” will feature music related to England and France. On the program will be Serenade by Edward Elgar, The Hebrides Overture by Felix Mendelssohn, Le Tombeau de Couperin by Maurice Ravel and Symphony No. 104 “London” by Franz Joseph Haydn.
