South Orange Symphony Family Concert

South Orange Symphony, under the baton of Susan Haig of Summit, gives a free "Winter Carnival" family concert Sunday, Feb. 21 at 3:00pm at South Orange Middle School, 70 N.Ridgewood Road, South Orange. The program is for adults and youngsters alike: music by Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Shostakovich, and "Star Wars" by John Williams. Kids can visit a musical instrument petting zoo, and can dance to Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty. The orchestra's annual Silent Auction fundraiser also takes place.
