Reeves-Reed Arboretum, a veritable museum of plants and trees, is opening up its gardens for a plant sale featuring woody specimens, plants and perennials grown here at the Arboretum, as well as select offerings of rare and unusual extras provided by carefully chosen vendors. The general public will be invited to come by on Saturday, May 16, from 9 am to 2 pm. The Arboretum's horticultural team, headed by Horticulture Director Marc Montefusco and Lead Horticulturist Julieanne Frascinella, will be on hand to answer any gardening questions and to make planting recommendations. All proceeds from the plant sale will go towards the Arboretum's budget for grounds maintenance and improvements.
