New Drugs for Old Diseases
Dr. Merv Turner will discuss partnership between the global pharmaceutical company, GSK, and a British medical foundation, the Welcome Trust, to fund the discovery and development of a new drug for malaria. The talk will highlight the obstacles that had to be surmounted in the discovery of this molecule. Guests are welcome.
