May 23, 2017 Friends of the Millburn Library Museum Night Lecture: Sandro Botticelli: From Ideal to Surreal Art Historian and long-time lecturer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Vivian Gordon, will present an illustrated lecture on the work of Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli at The Millburn Public Library on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:00 pm. The talk, sponsored by The Friends of the Millburn Library, is entitled "Botticelli: From Ideal to Surreal," and coincides with an important exhibition of the artist's work coming to the US this spring. Light refreshments will be served.
