Back by popular demand, the band "To The Max" will entertain the crowd as they enjoy cocktails and Hors D'Oeuvres, a Wine Pull, and a Reverse Trip Raffle (in lieu of an auction) for a chance to win a Ritz Carlton getaway or other luxury accommodation worth up to $6,000! Mardi Gras is an important event for The Connection as it enables them to offer $270,000 in scholarships each year. By supporting the Mardi Gras Party, donors make it possible for The Connection to offer essential community service programs including English as a Second Language, Pathways, Special Needs, The Girl Project, and Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. The Connection?s Community Service and Scholarship Fund makes it possible for everyone to participate in enriching programs, regardless of their economic circumstance. Can't make it to the party? Buy a Reverse Trip Raffle Ticket online to support The Scholarship Fund and for a chance to win a Ritz Carlton getaway or other luxury accommodation worth up to $6,000. Only a limited amount of raffle tickets will be sold. There will be four rounds of numbers pulled throughout the evening, with an increasing percentage eliminated during each round. Once a number is pulled, participants have the opportunity to buy back into the raffle. The last number standing wins the trip!
