Do you savor sizzling plant combinations in other people’s gardens while being dissatisfied with your own? Then join the Maplewood Garden Club on Monday, November 4, at 7:30 p.m. at Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker Street, Maplewood, when widely published garden photographer, writer, and garden coach Karen Bussolini presents “Jazzing Up the Garden with Color, Contrast, and Movement.” During her program, which is packed with dozens of exciting plant combinations photographed in gardens across the country, Karen will detail how to look more closely at what makes certain combos work—or not. She will also explain how plants need to interact in order to achieve dynamic contrasts and suggest simple ways of combining them. Karen will sign copies of her books after her presentation, which follows a short business meeting and is free and open to all. No RSVP is required. http://www.maplewoodgardenclub.org / https://www.facebook.com/MaplewoodGardenClub / www.karenbussolini.com
