RRA joins the Speakers Bureau of the Newark Museum in presenting, FLOWERS IN ART!, a lecture about nature, particularly flowers, in paintings, sculpture, folk art, decorative arts and in jewelry – all from the Newark Museum collections – with a focus on paintings and drawings from Colonial botanical explorers to modern artists, addressing the aesthetic and cultural priorities reflected by the artists' unique vision. The presentation will be led by the Museum's Judi Robinson, formerly a third grade teacher in Summit, now living in Madison, New Jersey. Each attendee will receive a special Newark Museum packet which includes a free pass to the Museum good for six months.
