Whether it's a natural disaster or human error, your small business needs to be prepared to carry on in less than ideal or even dire circumstances. It may be difficult to think about future events when you're still dealing with the effects of Sandy, but plan you must. That's why we've partnered with Operation Hope to offer this workshop on small business continuity planning.
Operation Hope, the nation's leading financial literacy and economic empowerment nonprofit organization, has been providing free, individualized financial advisory services to small businesses throughout NJ as they work to recover from Sandy. Part of that effort has been focused on conducting free business continuity workshops with like-minded organizations.
OUR SPEAKER ....
Louis E. Prezeau, Jr.; Northeast Regional Manager with Operation HOPE-HOPE Coalition America
Louis is a community economic development professional with extensive banking and lending experience. His diverse finance and development experience includes both the development and underwriting functions of affordable housing while at the Low Income Housing Institute and WAMU, respectively; the creation, management, and administration of small business loan funds at the East Harlem Business Capital Corporation and Harlem Commonwealth Council, Inc.; and community development programs that addressed issues such as disconnected youth, adult basic education, entrepreneurship, and business improvement districts at several organizations
Louis has now brought that wealth of experience to the Financial Disaster Recovery and Preparedness arena in order to assist small business owners in their return to pre-disaster revenue levels and assist them in their preparation for the next man made or natural disaster.
