Adapting Small Farm Methods to a Backyard Garden
Where does our food comes from? On Monday, March 6th at 7:30pm, enjoy a lecture by Anthony Bracco that aims to raise awareness, investigating the differences between the Factory Farm vs Family Farm, Local Grown vs. Distant Grown, Organic vs. Conventional growth, and much more. Along with sharing growing methods, learn how to understand naturally grown and sustainable methods you could use in your backyard garden. Bracco Farms came into being in 2009, born out of a passion for fresh vegetables and fruit. The mission of this family farm is to provide the public, restaurants and food markets with the best possible small-batch naturally grown fresh produce. Anthony Bracco and his family live in Cedar Grove NJ, and operate their 25 acre farm in the black dirt region of Pine Island, NY.
