DESCRIPTION:Summit High School music students will canvas the City of Summit on Sunday\, Nov. 2\, between noon and 4 p.m.\, as participants in the Summit Music Parents Association?s (SMPA) annual campaign\, Pledge Day. Band\, orchestra and chorus students will ask the community for financial support that is vital to the school?s music programs. All the money collected goes to support the excellent music program and is used to fund scholarships\, replace instruments and equipment and bring in renowned musicians to teach master classes. Pledge Day also helps subsidize music trips to festivals and competitions that showcase our talented musicians.
