DESCRIPTION:New this year!  Amateur bakers are invited to bring their best pumpkin or sweet potato pie to the Summit Farmers Market by 10:45AM on November 12.  Judging begins at 11AM.  Pies will be judged on their crust\, filling\, and appearance.  After the pies are judged\, the public will be able to sample them!  Pies must be made from scratch\; no premade crusts allowed.  All types of pumpkin and sweet potato pies are allowed: pumpkin custard\, pumpkin pecan\, etc.  Entrants must bring a copy of their recipe to the contest with them.
