DESCRIPTION:Many gardeners and homeowners in suburban New Jersey face dual challenges: gardening under a mature canopy and trying to introduce native plants into their gardens. RRA Director of Horticulture Marc Montefusco will host a tour and lecture that addresses both of these issues. Reeves-Reed Arboretum has a lovely collection of shade-loving perennials\, and many of them will be at their best on May 1. Following a tour of the relevant beds and gardens\, Marc will discuss new and rare shade perennial varieties\, recommend sources\, and take questions. Registration is required.
