DESCRIPTION:Join KIKA Stretch Studios - Summit & Short Hills as we gather for a community talk on managing wellness! Dr. Marguerite Matthews holds a PhD in Neuroscience from University of Pittsburgh and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the longitudinal ADHD research study at Oregon Health & Science University. Her research focused on examining the effects of maternal socioeconomic factors on structural and functional brain connectivity in infant brain development using MRI. She also used functional connectivity MRI to identify biomarkers of ADHD in child sibling pairs. Dr. Matthews and studio owner Kamari previously worked together as founding co-directors of OHSU's Youth Engaged in Science Initiative.\n\nFollowing the discussion\, our talented KIKA coaching staff will guide attendees & everyone in the household through a series of stretching movements to release tension from the body and mind! Bring your favorite beverage and join the conversation.\n\nThis event is for all ages.\n\n50% of all donation will be given to #GRACE. The remainder will be given to our amazing staff of coaches -- a collective of 1st responders\, teachers\, and graduate students -- impacted during this period of closure.
