DESCRIPTION:Art Festival: The Summit Downtown Art Festival is back! This is an outdoor\, juried art show with plenty of art and wares for sale. The Art Festival will be located on Springfield Avenue between Maple Street and Summit Avenue.  Artist applications are now being accepted!  Visit bit.ly/artscars for the application. The Art Festival is co-organized by the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. \n\nLive Entertainment:  Special thanks to Regal Bank for sponsoring the musical entertainment! There will be live music on stage all day.  A schedule will be posted closer to the event\n\nClassic Car Show: Organized by the Summit Police Athletic League (P.A.L.)\, hundreds of classic cars will be displayed on Union Place\, Bank Street\, and lower Beechwood Road. For more information on the car show or to enter your car\, please visit http://www.summitpal.org. \n\nChildren's Activities will be provided by area nonprofits and SDI. Come color the streets with sidewalk chalk! The Summit Farmers Market will also be open at 22 DeForest Avenue from 8am-1pm.\n\n*New this year* There will be a beer and wine garden in the Bank Street Parking Lot and food trucks along Bank Street.  Interested food trucks should email admin@summitdowntown.org.
