The Confident Young Girl: Who Am I? How Can I Handle Stress?
The Confident Young Girl: Tools to help your tween believe in herself (for girls in 4th & 5th grade) •Prepare your young girl for the tween and teen years! •When young girls have increased self confidence, it allows them to stand stronger as the more difficult years approach. •When she cares about who she is, knows what she wants and understands how to listen to herself, she can make good decisions that help her be confident in herself, and caring toward others. We are offering two classes with distinct topics so you can take them separately or together. Class I - Who Am I? How Can I Handle Stress? In this class, girls will learn tools to help them learn more about themselves, who they are, what they like, and what they don't like. From this point they can then stand taller and take steps in their life toward things they want because it is true to them, versus something they feel pressured to do by their peers. Tools, such as meditation, will be introduced to help her manage stress. Learning will take place through hands-on exercises and crafts.
