SJFC New Member Information Meeting
Learn more about joining the Summit Junior Fortnightly Club (SJFC), a women’s social and service organization dedicated to volunteerism and fundraising, with a focus on improving the welfare of families and children within our communities. SJFC provides an opportunity to build lasting friendships on a foundation of common values and shared experiences. We meet monthly, September through May, in the historic Twin Maples House in Summit, NJ. These meetings are our platform for planning events and volunteer activities, socializing, and hearing from local speakers on topics of interest. SJFC offers flexibility within a framework that allows our members to get involved at the level and frequency they choose – from simply participating in volunteer and social activities to leading event committees or chairing signature events. Join us on January 29th and February 6th at 7:30 pm to learn how we support our local communities through: - Signature Spring & Fall Fundraising Events - SJFC-Hosted Community Programs - Volunteer Efforts - Social Activities While “Summit” is in our name, but you don’t have to be a Summit resident to join. Our members hail from many neighboring communities as well, including New Providence, Chatham and Berkeley Heights. SJFC is always open to new members.
