Backyard Birding for Families at Reeves-Reed Arboretum
For families with children ages 5 and up. Food is scarce in the wintertime and putting up birdfeeders not only helps birds but can provide enjoyment for your family as well. In addition to making a simple birdfeeder that your family can take home, we will also learn to identify the common and not so common birds that may visit your feeder. After this program you will be ready to join thousands of other families counting birds in their backyard as part of the Great American Backyard Bird Count! Registration is required.
